The two inspiring Level 2 Painting and Decorating Apprentices, Hayden and Holly, travelled to Wigan and Leigh Skills Academy to take part in the prestigious competition.

Science Explorers ON TOUR! 🧪
Our incredible Science, Health and Education Division visited Reedley Hallows Nursery School to give students a taster session about the exciting world of science.
The children made volcanoes erupt, including a cool 3D-printed one, made by our expert Engineering Team. They inflated balloons using chemical reactions and explored what sinks or floats in a baking soda and vinegar solution.
More members of the BC Family will be heading over to the nursery for five more session after Easter, so keep following us to see more exciting science experiments!

A Wild Experience for Students at Chester Zoo: Discovering Our Primate Cousins and Their Behaviours!
70 A Level Students visited Chester Zoo to look at our evolutionary ancestors including chimpanzees and monkeys.
Students learned how human behaviours are similar to those of animals and used their knowledge about the bond between children and their caregivers to further understand both humans and primates.

T level Design, Surveying and Planning Students have made the most of the fully-equipped wooden home in our Carpentry and Joinery workshop.
Learners used state-of-the-art equipment to gather millimetre-perfect measurements to input into industry standard CAD software and create a working model of the house.
It teaches them the skills they will need everyday in the construction industry.
