Incentive Payments
You may be entitled to incentive payments from the Government for any associated costs in employing Apprentices as well as help to pay for Apprenticeship training and assessment.
The amount can depend on your specific business circumstances but could be anywhere from 95% of the fees covered to all the fees covered and money back for further training.
The Government will pay 100% of the apprenticeship training costs (up to the funding band maximum) for Apprentices aged 16 -18 and those aged 19 – 24 with an Education, Health and Care (EHC) plan provided by the local authority.
If you have more than 50 employees and your annual paybill is less than £3 million
You will pay 5% towards the cost of training and assessing your Themis Apprentice, under national Government guidelines.
For those employers with an annual paybill in excess of £3 million
The Apprenticeship Levy is in force and will be charged by the Government at a rate of 0.5% of your paybill. You will receive an allowance of £15,000 to offset against your levy payment.
