Acting:

Learners will train in a wide range of acting disciplines, including stage and screen acting, classical theatre, physical theatre, and contemporary performance practices. Learners will also explore Movement for actors and key practitioners such as Stanislavski, Meisner, and Artaud. Alongside intensive practical work, learners will study performance theory and context, ensuring a deep understanding of both craft and industry. 

The course places a strong emphasis on professional development. By the end of your training, you will be equipped with the knowledge, experience, and resources to navigate a successful career within the performing arts industry, including an audition portfolio of scripted and devised monologues, performers CV, as part of your personalised Electronic Press Kit to support further training, representation, and employment. 

Throughout your studies you will take part in a wide range of performance opportunities, including a pantomime, two Performing Arts Showcase evenings, a full-scale Musical Theatre Production and external high-profile public events. These projects provide invaluable experience of performing to live audiences in a variety of settings. 

Musical Theatre:

Learners will receive specialist training in musical theatre vocal techniques and anatomy, acting through song, jazz dance, contemporary dance, and acting techniques. Every practical session is enriched with theoretical study, ensuring a deep understanding of both the art form and its professional contexts.
