Over this one year programme you will have two examinations and seven Internally assessed projects.
Careers & Progression
You may progress onto the Digital Support Services: Cyber Security T Level or a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Computing. You may also decide to embark on an Apprenticeship at Burnley College.

The college has a number of Windows PC-based computer suites installed with all the required software that can be used for all aspects of the course.
Enrichment Activities
Alongside your core studies, you’ll take part in a range of activities that connect you to the real world of computing and digital technology. You’ll experience Industry Week – a dedicated programme of talks, workshops and live demonstrations from professionals across the tech sector. It’s a chance to hear directly from those working in software development, cyber security, data, and IT services. You’ll also get the opportunity to go on visits to local employers and international residentials.
These experiences are designed to build your confidence, expand your understanding of the industry, and support your next steps in education or employment.
