About the course
The Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ) is an introductory qualification for anyone looking to improve or gain fundamental knowledge in the profession of project management. The syllabus assesses the key elements of the project management life cycle, including:
planning and scheduling
communication
teamwork
resource management
project risk management
project reviews
No prior knowledge or experience is required. You may need to speak to your employer to see if you can attend during work time as this is a three day course. The final exam may require a separate day and time, this will be discussed upon sign-up.
Training can be delivered on the Burnley College campus or in the workplace. Bespoke packages can be offered.
Entry Requirements
You don't need any prior knowledge or experience for this qualification.
Assessment
The Project Fundamentals Qualification is a one hour, 60-question, multiple-choice exam. You will sit the exam online in the exam suite within college.
Careers & Progression
You can progress onto the APM Project Management Qualification or the Level 4 Associate Project Manager Apprenticeship
