On successful completion of this course you may progress to a Level 1 Diploma in Introduction to Health, Social Care and Children’s and Young People’s Settings. This 1 year course will support your progression onto a more specific pathway in health and social care, health science or early years and education. Careers that this course may lead to include child care nursery nurse, teaching assistant, community nurse in health and social care or care assistant.

Enrichment sessions will allow you to develop skills for the sector in fun and engaging sessions to support your development and progression. Previous enrichment has included: Guest talks by employers within the sector to bring your progression and employment opportunities to life. Sessions led by industry experts to allow experiences in health, science and early years. Work related skills such as preparing for interviews and CV writing, forest school experience, health simulation sessions and Volunteering opportunities.
