About the course
HNC Electrical and Electronic-The Pearson BTEC Level 4 HNC in Electrical and Electronic Engineering for England is a one-year vocational qualification designed to equip students with the skills, knowledge, and behaviors employers seek in the electrical and electronic engineering sector. Entry Requirements
BTEC Level 3 qualification in Engineering
GCE Advanced Level profile that demonstrates strong performance in a relevant subject or adequate performance in more than one GCE subject. This profile is likely to be supported by GCSE grades at A* to C (or equivalent) and/or 9 to 4 (or equivalent) in subjects such as Mathematics and English
Other related Level 3 qualifications
Access to Higher Education Diploma from an approved further education institution
Relevant work experience
An international equivalent to the above qualifications.

Careers & Progression
The Level 4 units lay the foundation of learning by providing a broad introduction to the engineering sector as well as a focused introduction to electrical and electronic engineering. This develops and strengthens core skills while preparing students for more specialist subjects at Level 5 or to enter employment with the qualities necessary for job roles that require some personal responsibility.
